It is hard to believe that a year has already passed since the death of one of my best and closest friends, Ken Jones. Not a week has gone by when I have not thought of him and how much I miss him.

A year later and his death still stings. But why? I thought time is supposed to heal all wounds?

The emergence of social media over the last 10 years has forever changed the way in which we interact with our world. Many people probably believe the invention of the Internet was the real game changer, but I would like to challenge that. My New Blog Theme

Shortly after beginning my blog back in March, I began to fall out of love with my original choice of site theme. It is not because I did not like the overall look or layout, but rather I quickly realized it probably was not the best fit for what I was attempting to accomplish. The love lost was in some way a contributing factor as to why it took me another five months before my next update.

I have spent my adult career in the information technology field, albeit academic information technology, working for both public and private educational institutions. I am a child of the 1980’s, having been amongst the first youth in America with the fortune of computers in the classrooms and technology woven into the instruction.
