You Have A Twitter Page?

This morning, the group grabbed a bite of morning breakfast at a local, central Phoenix restaurant before my friend from Los Angeles was required to catch his flight home. During the course of breakfast, and completely unsolicited, another mutual friend turned to me and proclaimed: “I heard you have a Twitter page?!”

This evening while working on another blog post, I found myself on YouTube in search of a Ted Stevens Series of Tubes video parody. For some reason, a related video caught my eye. The video contains a young man (Noah) who, for the past nine years, has taken a photo of himself and turned it, in essence, into a photo lifestream flipbook.

At lunch early today, over a cheese enchilada, black beans, rice, chips, and a Diet CokeĀ®, I had yet another engaging conversation with a friend of mine. As is often the case with our lunch conversations, the topic tends to focus on the current state of social media and its (mis)use nationally and globally. Today however, the conversation was a slightly different as I was topic of discussion.

iPhone 1.0

Today, Apple released the iPhone 3.0 software, or as I like to think of it, iPhone 1.0. As an iPhone user, are we supposed to get excited and feel grateful about features that should have been included from Day 1? I feel like Oliver Twist asking “Please, sir, I want some more.
