Technology ≠ Cognitive Dissonance

I have spent my adult career in the information technology field, albeit academic information technology, working for both public and private educational institutions. I am a child of the 1980’s, having been amongst the first youth in America with the fortune of computers in the classrooms and technology woven into the instruction.

Today, Apple released the iPhone 3.0 software, or as I like to think of it, iPhone 1.0. As an iPhone user, are we supposed to get excited and feel grateful about features that should have been included from Day 1? I feel like Oliver Twist asking “Please, sir, I want some more.

My Blog

I do not pretend to be experienced in social media. I will be the first to openly acknowledge that I’m a n00b. But hey, everyone needs to start someplace, right? Although I may be new to social media, I am quite experienced in many forms to technology. This is the same technology the forms the foundation for any social media. So when I finally decided to start a blog, I literally had dozens of possible platform choices.
